Zion Ragins Cuts his list to 12
Zion Ragins is down to twelve schools and Georgia made the cut
Georgia is in on some of the top receivers in the 2024 class and Zion Ragins is one of those.
Ragins is now down to twelve teams: Georgia, Notre Dame, Western Kentucky, Cincinnati, Miami, Florida State, South Carolina, Penn State, Oklahoma, Colorado, Auburn, and Tennessee. Ragins is 5-9, 150 pounds and is one of the fastest players in the nation. He runs a sub-22-second 200-meter dash.
In his Junior season, Ragins accounted for 5 total touchdowns and 718 total yards. It was a drop-off from his sophomore season due to lingering injuries all season.
South Carolina seems to be the leader right now for Ragins. He has a really good relationship with their wide receiver coach and Coach Beamer. He most recently visited Oklahoma and they had a very good visit with him. Ragins is focusing on track right now so he might not visit many schools this spring instead he will wait until late summer and then during the season.
Ragins isn’t the biggest guy by any means on the field, but that speed makes up for the lack of size in Ragins game.
